Claire at the White Camellia Awards at Government House

Updated: Dec 4, 2019

The White Camellia Awards honour businesses promoting gender equity through the Women’s Empowerment Principles.

The 2017 White Camellia Awards were held at Government House in Wellington on September 19 – Suffrage Day.

And Claire was there supporting amazing Award winners Far North Safer Communities from Kaitaia led by the fabulous Rowena Jones. A lovely evening on an auspicious day – the 124th anniversary of women’s suffrage in NZ.

Kiwi women were the first in the world to win the right to vote and although we’ve come a long way, there’s still much to do to make diversity and inclusion the universal reality.

Great to celebrate organisations who are working so hard to make that happen!
