About the Event
Recently there's been a massive push to be more people focused at work. You've heard all the catchphrases: #peoplecentred, #humancentric, #peoplefirst - it's all good stuff! So, let's look at the most human thing about us: our brains.
We'll take a neuroscientific lens into evaluating our work environments and ways of working. Neuroscientists focus on the brain - and its impact on behaviours and thinking. What great perspective to bring to the questions we're all trying to answer:
🧠 When and where should we work?
🧠 How can we build stronger teams and organisations?
🧠 What makes people feel included, valued and recognised?
🧠 What brings the best out of us?
We'll dive into new research and how that applies to our 2023 context. Let's apply what we know about our brains into decisions we make about how we work, collaborate and make decisions.
We'll pick up on some of the topics Hilary discussed in her 2021 webinar, How our brains react to change, as well as look at the following topics from a neuroscientific perspective:
- WFH / remote working
- threats and rewards at work
- performance management
- inclusion and diversity
Want to be more #humancentric #peoplecentred #personfirstfocused? Then focus on the brain and what our brains need at work.
Join us on Friday 29 September as Kristen leads this discussion.
