Women's leadership

Women are under-represented in leadership positions, while women’s contribution as leaders is increasingly recognised. This workshop is a chance for women to look at the systemic barriers to career progress, including self-imposed ones, and develop strategies to overcome them.
Women will leave this workshop with greater clarity about what they offer, where they want to be, and how to get there.

Who is this workshop for?

Any woman who:

  • thinks she has more to offer in her workplace

  • feels frustrated by a lack of career progression

  • wants to be recognised as a leader at work.

Outcomes

After this workshop, women will be able to:

  • identify and understand systemic barriers

  • claim their own skills and expertise

  • plan their development.

Content

  • The statistics on gender imbalance and women’s achievements

  • Obstacles to women’s progress, internal and external barriers

  • Case studies of success

  • Career planning

  • Developing networks

Dates & registration

We are running two workshops of Women's Leadership in 2020, in May and December, facilitated by Dinah Vincent and Hilary Bryan respectively. The two-day workshop costs $1150 (excl GST). This includes a StrengthsFinder Top 5 assessment, course materials, and catering.
