Creativity and Innovation
Do you and your team think creatively? Do you have the creative habit? What’s the difference between lateral and creative thinking? Does creativity mean you have to be original?
Problem solving is about what we want to go away. Creativity is about what we want to create. Thinking laterally takes you into the world of thinking the impossible. Thinking creatively gives you new perspectives and possibilities. These will lead to either improvements or transformations. This is a highly interactive and practical session.
At the end you will:
- use lateral thinking techniques, such as the intermediate impossible and revolution
- understand and apply the creative process
- link creativity with humour and play
- understand and apply the creative process
- begin to develop the creative habit.
Why is this important?
Creativity is a major part of New Zealand’s competitive advantage. If you harness people’s creativity, you can build a creative and innovative workplace where people want to work and will be productive.
