Facilitating Training
How do adults learn? How do you bring about behaviour change via training? How do you evaluate training? What is the effectiveness of training compared with other learning approaches?
Facilitating successful training is about planning, process, content and evaluation. This programme is based on sound theory translated into practical skills and actions. It starts at the beginning of the learning process and takes you on a journey through its various stages.
At the end you will:
- place training in the context of coaching, on-the-job learning and self-directed learning
- develop competencies and training objectives
- plan training to suit different learning styles
- create a positive learning environment
- develop a wide variety of learning activities and approaches
- enhance your facilitation skills
- manage challenging learners
- evaluate training via Kirkpatrick's four stage approach and the Success Case Method.
Why is this important?
Well-facilitated training can make a huge and positive difference to people’s thinking and behaviour. Planned and executed effectively, it’s a great investment and produces measureable business results.
